Structural Welder

Key Responsibilities:

• Interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine welding requirements.
• Set up, operate, and maintain welding equipment and tools.
• Perform welding tasks using MIG, TIG, and arc welding techniques.
• Fabricate and assemble metal structures and components accurately.
• Inspect and test welded joints and structures for quality assurance.
• Repair and maintain existing metal structures.
• Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Work collaboratively with other team members to complete projects on schedule.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent; welding certification preferred.
• Proven experience as a structural welder in a similar role.
• Proficiency in MIG, TIG, and arc welding techniques.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical documents.
• Strong attention to detail and precision in welding.
• Excellent hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity.
• Knowledge of welding safety standards and practices.
• Physical ability to work in various positions, including standing, bending, and kneeling for extended periods.
